In about an hour or so, I'll be heading off to Japan! Well... technically I'm going from Kansas to Chicago since there are no direct flights from here, but it's still on the way. XD My parents were worried about me going to the Chicago airport alone (seeing as its the largest, most confusing airport in the US), so they're coming along to see me off there. And then I'm meeting up with one of my classmates in the program and we're sharing the flight to Japan together~

I'm so anxious I could vomit. |D I've never stayed with a host family before, nonetheless gone to Japan at ALL. But aside from all the worrying and school, I'm sure it will be unforgettable and enjoyable. Heck, I've wanted to go since I was in middle school. XD

I'll be staying in Kanazawa City (located approximately four hours West of Tokyo, along the Sea of Japan), but I'm hoping to go to Tokyo at least once to shop -and go to this [link] event- <3

I might have internet there, but if I don't comment or make more entries in a while, see you guys soon!!


Oh, and be sure to tell me if any of you happen to be in Japan at the same time. XD It'd be cool to meet up!
