Tales of Series Ichiban Kuji 3

Hey guys!

Sorry for not posting anything in so long. I got a new job in Tokyo that has basically killed all of my free time. My posts have mostly been on my tumblr page since it's quicker and easier than making journal posts, so if you want to stay up-to-date with Tales of merchandise news, I'm still at it!

But that's not what you came here for, so let's get down to it....

That's right! At last, Tales of the Abyss is being added into the Ichiban Kuji Lineup!

This isn't a first for Tales of Xillia 2, but it is Ludger's first figure!

A Quickie (ToE) teaser has been shown along with Conway's book (ToI), but it is unconfirmed what these items belong to. They could be Kyun Character parts, or they could be pieces of a keychain, as Banpresto has been known to make 3D keychains along with their rubber laser-cut ones.

The lineup might be revealed at Wonder Festival Winter 2014, so we'll just have to wait and see!

Colette Figure by Kotobukiya - Prototype

Wonder Festival 2013 (summer) just ended, and while we didn't get any new Tales of merchandise news, Kotobukiya surprised us with an unpainted version of their Colette figure!

Series: Tales of Symphonia

Character: Colette Brunel

Manufacturer: Kotobukiya

Scale: 1/8

Release Date: 2014

Price: TBA

It's hard to judge the quality of this figure from the unpainted prototype, but I'm hoping her size or quality won't differ much from ALTAiR's so I can display her with my other Tales of figures. :> ALTAiR/Alter is one of the best in the business in terms of quality, and while this Colette marks a huge step up from Kotobukiya's older Tales of scale figures (Tear, Natalia, Mint, and Arche) only time will tell if the quality has improved enough to stand her next to the best!

...I'll be buying her regardless of the quality of the finished product, but I'm just saying that it'd be wonderful to display her with all my Alter Tales of figures. Milestone Tear, for example, is 1/7 scale and looks awkward next to Alter Luke, while Kotobukiya Tear's proportions are a little different and her quality is too low so she stands out (but she was only a 4,000 yen figure and this Colette looks more like a 6,000 yen plus figure).

It would've been great if they had made her wings. (Her pose would work well for them, too!) In fact, I think it would've really improved her sales since it would've made her unique among the sea of female figures flooding us out there, but ah well. I'm sure they'd be difficult to actually make for a figure since they're not attached to anything.

Tales of Xillia 2 Coming to the West

It was just announced at the 2013 Japan Expo in France that Europe and the US will be getting Tales of Xillia 2 in 2014!

It's kind of crazy that we got the announcement before Xillia 1 even released, but I'm not complaining!

New 1/2 Repede Plush by LaLaBit

LaLaBit Market will be releasing a 1/2 scale Repede plush doll on December 24, 2013!

As of now, LaLaBit's plans are for Repede to be a build-to-order product. This means they will only make as many plush dolls as there are pre-orders for him.

Do not place an order unless you can pay within the next five days

Ordering Rules:

Due to the size of this sale and the lack of free time in my schedule, I cannot take single item orders for small or inexpensive items. There are simply too many of them.
If you want to order a small or inexpensive item (a badge, a strap, a multi-cloth, etc) you must order at least three. If you're only ordering postcards, then at least five. I'm sorry for the trouble.
Orders totaling 2,000 yen or over (regardless of quantity) are okay. (example: 1 item (2,000 yen) or 2 items (together 2,100 yen)). If the item you want is close to 2,000 yen, I will consider making exceptions.
If there are items leftover from the sale, they will be sold individually later.
